Google Chrome Reaches Support for Multimedia Keys

A feature that Chrome users have been waiting for a long time comes with the next version of the browser. Chrome 73 will be the first to officially support multimedia keys on users’ laptops and desktop keyboards. Chrome 73 eliminates this requirement, even if you can win this functionality in third-party applications and add-ons. The fact that the pressed key will be detected at the browser level and not at the tab level means that you will be able to use your keyboard to control the environment even if the scanner is running in the background. The update comes with the Media Session API, which will enable developers to customize different functions for multimedia keys.
