Google, along with its new project, is working on a project that can recognize and interact with the items we use in our home.

Our greatest dream is that all the objects in our house communicate with each other. On paper, this is hardly practical, but it’s not really practical

On the one hand, this means we’re replacing our non-smart stuff with more expensive smart-touch items. These devices bring along safety concerns and privacy issues.
